The Lightweight Aluminum Rapid Hitch:
STRENGTH
Andersen uses the strongest aluminum available: aircraft-grade aluminum. This caliber of aluminum can withstand well over 40,000 lbs of force. In fact, the Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Hitch didn't buckle until it was under 55,000 lbs of pressure.
DURABILITY
When you are hauling trailers or towing your toys, you shouldn't have to think about the effects of the snow, rain, dirt, dust, or road salt on your trailer hitch. That's why aluminum is as durable as it is strong. Unlike steel, aluminum is naturally resistant to rust. The RAPID HITCH is available in three drop hitch sizes
CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE:
A quick and easy way to judge what size of Rapid Hitch you need is to measure from the ground up to the inside top of your 2" receiver tube.
- If the measurement is 20" or less - the 4" drop is for you (Rapid Hitch 3460 or Rapid Hitch 3461)
- If the measurement is between 20" and 24" you need the 6" drop (Rapid Hitch 3410 or 3405)
- If the measurement is more than 24" you will need the 10" drop (Rapid Hitch 3413)
